Jerred Hurst brings over two decades of expertise in marketing and technology, with a focus on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) since its national inception in 2021. As the owner of a marketing agency serving local, regional, and national brands, Jerred has honed his skills in leading diverse teams and developing innovative marketing strategies across multiple industries. At Athletiq Media, Jerred’s strategic vision and problem-solving skills drive the company’s comprehensive services, including marketing audits, video production, and fundraising strategies, ensuring clients achieve their goals in the evolving landscape of college athletics.

Parker Brown
Parker Brown is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in NIL and collegiate athletics fundraising. He has successfully built and managed a Power 4 NIL collective, overseeing contracts, athlete relations, compliance, and large-scale fundraising campaigns. Parker’s expertise extends to multi-million-dollar capital campaigns, facility campaigns, and marketing initiatives for collegiate athletic programs. His leadership has also guided individual NIL deal negotiations with brands like Dr Pepper, Raising Cane’s, and Salata. Parker’s comprehensive knowledge of the NIL  and revenue share landscape and dedication to athlete success make him an invaluable asset to Athletiq Media.

Blake Silverthorn is a two-time Emmy Award-winning professional with a rich background in sports marketing and production. His tenure with the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech University involved leading television and social media creative teams, producing award-winning sports documentaries, weekly shows, and social media campaigns. Transitioning to the agency side, Blake has excelled in NIL, athletic fundraising, and sports marketing, specializing in sponsorships, branded media, and creative content. At Athletiq Media, he leverages his expertise to enhance services such as video production, social media management, and digital advertising, delivering compelling content that elevates clients’ brands.
Chris Cook
Chris Cook
Chris Cook is a seasoned public relations professional with a foundation in intercollegiate athletics. At Texas Tech University, he led PR efforts for a pair of Heisman initiatives – Kliff Kingsbury in 2002 and the Pass or Catch 2008 campaign for Graham Harrell and Michael Crabtree in 2008, the latter of which was a play off the presidential election and generated unprecedented national coverage. Additionally, he directed overall communications for the athletic department and football program during Mike Leach’s 10 years as head coach and coordinated media around hiring hall-of-fame basketball coach Bob Knight. Transitioning from athletics, he’s built a diverse career in higher education and corporate communication, excelling in messaging, brand strategy and audience engagement. Chris also is a professor of public relations at the university. Through his consulting practice, he draws on more than 30 years of experience to provide customized PR solutions that enhance brand visibility and deliver results.
